A leading personal wellness brand, Dr Teal’s, closed out the year with a vibrant celebration as it recenty hosted the Dr Teal’s Detty Experience Class of 2025 at the Monarch Event Centre, Lekki, Lagos. The event brought together wellness enthusiasts, cultural icons, celebrities and loyal customers for an evening that blended Nigerian tradition, high-energy entertainment, food, fashion and self-care advocacy.
Delivering the opening address, the Managing Director and CEO of Perfect Trust Beauty and Wellness—Dr Teal’s exclusive distributor in Nigeria—Chinedu Okoye, reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to prioritising customer well-being.
He said, “Our vision is to care for our customers, who are the very reason we are in business. He explained that the end-of-year celebration was designed to appreciate customers for their support and provide a space to “energise and recharge” ahead of the new year.
Speaking on the decision to host an “Owambe”-themed party, Okoye said the cultural celebration was intentional and tied to Dr Teal’s philosophy of holistic wellness.
He also addressed concerns about counterfeit products in the market, assuring guests that the company continues to collaborate with regulatory agencies to remove fake products. He encouraged customers to patronise official distributors to ensure authenticity.
Touching on the event’s adire dress code, Okoye said Dr Teal’s strategy in Nigeria is deeply community-driven. “Every region has its culture. In Nigeria, our culture is community-based, and we continually strive to support and develop individuals and businesses,” he said, adding that the company plans significant expansions in 2026 to further promote wellness nationwide.
Hosted by actress Shaffy Bello, the event featured a range of activities, beginning with a vibrant performance by traditional dancers whose choreography set a festive tone. Guests enjoyed a wide variety of local and continental dishes, while a dedicated spa corner offered relaxing treatments in line with the brand’s identity.
