Yuletide: Pro‑Tinubu Group Distributes Palliatives to Imo Residents Worth Millions of Naira

A group working for the second term reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu known as the South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA) has distributed palliatives containing various food items to some residents in Imo State for their Christmas celebration.

Those who benefited from the food largesse included party faithful in the 27 local government areas of the state and other indigent members of the society.

The gesture, according to the South East National Coordinator of the group, Ambassador Belusom Enwere in his address during the distribution held in Owerri, the Imo State capital, described it as a “gift” to Imo supporters meant to spread yuletide cheer and reinforce the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda at the grassroots.

The coordinator maintained that as the festive season reaches its peak, “we are reminded not only of joy, celebration, and fellowship but also of our collective responsibility to support the vulnerable and uphold the spirit of compassion and unity.”

According to him, our palliative distribution includes staples such as rice, beans, garri, and other essential food items, which are being shared through coordinated efforts of South Renewed Hope Agenda in the region, and community leaders who have helped to identify beneficiaries in a transparent and inclusive process.

“The South East Renewed Hope Agenda is not merely about short-term relief; it is part of a broader commitment to improve food security, strengthen social welfare systems, and uplift communities throughout Nigeria’s South East and beyond.

“It reflects the principles of solidarity, shared prosperity, and the belief that every citizen deserves dignity, especially in challenging times.

“We encourage all recipients to make good use of these palliatives – not to sell them, but to ensure they serve their intended purpose of feeding and nurturing families during this festive period.

“We also want to express our sincere gratitude to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his qualitative leadership in Nigeria.

“Let us all continue to work together, support one another, and keep hope alive in our hearts. Together, we can build communities that are resilient, prosperous, and inclusive for all,” he said.

Earlier in his speech, the National Deputy Coordinator of the group, Chukwudi Anyanwuocha, urged members of the group to remain focused and united in realization of its ambition to return President Tinubu in 2027.
