Queen Tobi Phillips, one of the wives of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, on Sunday celebrated the monarch as he marked his 10th coronation anniversary.
Phillips shared photos of herself, the Ooni and their twins on Instagram, praying for peace, wisdom and strength for the king.
“Happy 10th Coronation Anniversary to my King… May your reign continue to flourish in peace. More wisdom, more strength, more legacy,” she wrote.
Her message comes amid a wave of public tributes from the monarch’s household.
Earlier, Queen Ashley Ogunwusi published a lengthy post describing the Ooni’s ten-year reign as one marked by “grace, wisdom, and divine strength”. She praised the monarch’s leadership and reaffirmed her support, saying she would continue to walk beside him “for many more decades to come”.
Oba Ogunwusi ascended the throne in December 2015.
