Luova Group celebrates 15 years of growth, expansion in Nigeria’s creative industry
Luova Group, one of Nigeria’s creative organisations, has celebrated its 15th anniversary, highlighting its growth and sustained presence in the industry.
The company began in 2010 as TOBEMS Production and has since grown into a group comprising TOBEMS Production, Trois Sitini, and Tash Studios. Over the years, the organisation has delivered marketing campaigns, multimedia productions, managed large-scale events, and facilitated two Guinness World Record projects.
During the anniversary celebration, Group Managing Director Tosin Obembe reflected on the organisation’s journey from its humble beginnings, a single creative armed with a small camera, to a thriving multi-company enterprise shaping culture, storytelling, and brand innovation. He highlighted the early sacrifices, breakthrough opportunities, and strategic structuring that positioned Luova Group as a leader in marketing, production, media, events, and talent development.
Speaking during the anniversary celebration, Obembe emphasised the origins of the vision, “Today is not just a celebration. Today, we celebrate 15 years of a dream that refused to die. This whole journey, this LOUVA story, began with just one young man carrying a big dream and a small camera. People say, ‘If your business survives five years, you’re serious; if you reach ten years, you are building something,’ and today we are celebrating 15 years.”
He further narrated how the company grew from a one-man entity into a robust creative empire, directing major events, working with global brands, and expanding into multiple subsidiaries. Obembe noted that the company’s ability to thrive through industry disruptions, economic challenges, and the pandemic is rooted in “a committed core and a family of believers.”
Expressing gratitude, he added, “Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey, every staff member, every client, every friend, every creative, every believer. To my team, you are the reason we are here. To our partners, your trust built our confidence.”
The 15th anniversary event welcomed industry professionals, clients, and longtime partners of the organisation. It also served as a platform to recognise and celebrate outstanding staff members whose dedication, creativity, and commitment have been instrumental to the company’s sustained growth and achievements.
Looking ahead, Luova Group reaffirms its commitment to expanding its creative footprint both locally and globally. With new strategic initiatives, strengthened business structures, and an increasingly innovative team, the company announced that the next chapter will focus on deeper impact, international collaborations, and pioneering work that further shape the future of Africa’s creative economy.
