2Baba asks fans to stay out of marital crisis, says Natasha’s life at risk
Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has pleaded with his fans to stop interfering in his marital issues, saying the public attention is putting his wife, Natasha Osawaru, at risk.
He made the appeal via an Instagram Story titled “A plea,” which carried the stark message “help me.”
The post was followed by a video of the 50-year-old artiste calling for calm.
2Baba urged his followers and the general public not to escalate the matter, emphasizing that the ongoing drama was endangering Natasha.
“This is getting out of hand, and it’s becoming a dangerous situation. I know what fans can do; I know what people can do. I’m perfectly okay. This is putting Natasha at risk, it’s not fair to anybody.”
“Please, I need everybody to calm down ceasefire. We’re going to resolve all these issues. People have domestic issues; it’s not new, but this is getting out of hand. Friends, family, everybody, please, ceasefire. I beg you. I am perfectly fine. I did not make that post. Please, I’m okay,” he posted.
The controversy erupted when 2Baba and the Edo lawmaker were heard arguing in the background after a live session on Monday hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze.
During the live session, the singer’s former management team.
Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan, who appeared on Freeze’s live broadcast, accused Natasha of seeking “full control” over 2Baba’s life and career.
They alleged that Natasha controlled 2Baba’s finances and public engagements, insisting the singer needed to be “saved” from her influence.
The situation escalated when 2Baba joined the live session and angrily told his former managers to “shut the f**k up” and stop discussing his private life.
Moments later, an off-camera argument between him and Natasha became audible before the broadcast abruptly ended.
