Amstel Malta Legendary Christmas light-up illuminates Aba for the Yuletide
Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State, was agog Thursday evening, as the management of Nigerian Breweries Plc illuminated Brass Junction with “Amstel Malta Legendary Christmas Light-Up”, thereby setting the tone for the commencement of the 2025 Yuletide.
The event, first of its kind in Aba, had Governor Alex Otti, represented by Matthew Ekwuribe, commissioner for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, as the special guest.
With the incandescent Christmas lights on Christmas trees, Brass Junction is now attracting residents who appreciate art, thereby extending business hours within Brass and Nicholas streets.
Governor Alex Otti, who was represented by Matthew Ekwuribe, commissioner for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, thanked the NBPlc for electing to beautify the city for the Yuletide, noting that it did not take his Government time to approve the proposal from the team from NB Plc.
