
Insecurity: We’re not in any negotiation with bandits – Bauchi Police Commissioner
The Bauchi State Police Commissioner, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, has said that both the State Government and security community has not enter into any negotiation with bandits.
Sani-Omolori said this during stakeholders meeting with the residents from various communities within Mansur in Alkaleri Local Government Area of the State, which held at the their market square.
He assured members of the Community that their safety will remain a high priority in the discharge of their constitutional duties of preserving law and order.
The police commissioner, also advised community members to move freely but maintain vigilance and report any strange face or happenings.
According to the police commissioner, said that “The rumours making the rounds that a truce or amnesty of sort has been granted to bandits, is totally false”
While the affected communities expressed their appreciation to the police commissioner and it’s team for given them confidence.
During the meeting, were also the Commandant Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the representatives of the Brigade Commander and Director of State Services (DSS) and the Commander Nigerian Forest Security Services, Bauchi State Commands.
