Governor Fintiri Honoured With Excellence in Public Service Award for the Third Time

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, will once again be recognized on the national stage as he receives the prestigious Presidential Award for Excellence in Governance for the third consecutive year.

The honour will be conferred by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, during the 2025 Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS) scheduled for December 7th at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Governor Fintiri is celebrated as the Best Performing Governor in Infrastructure and Urban Development, a category that acknowledges exceptional strides in modernising cities, expanding road networks, and improving public facilities.

In his reaction, Governor Fintiri expressed gratitude for the recognition, describing it as a testament to his administration’s relentless efforts to transform Adamawa State.

“This award serves as a motivation to continue driving progress and prosperity in our state. We will continue to prioritize infrastructure development, improve governance, and enhance the quality of life for our citizens,” the Governor said.

He thanked President Tinubu and the NEAPS award committee for the honour, reaffirming his commitment to sustaining the pace of development and delivering landmark reforms across sectors.
