
Youth mobilizer, Abubakar Sodangi, quits PDP
A former aspirant for the National Youth Leader of the People’s Democratic Party, Abubakar Sodangi, has tendered his resignation from the party.
In a letter dated 28th November, 2025 and addressed to the Chairman, PDP Gayam ward in Lafia LGA of Nasarawa State, Sodangi appreciated the party for the opportunities and growth he gathered in the party.
“My decision to step aside is based on personal reasons after a period of thoughtful consideration.
“I remain sincerely grateful for the opportunities, guidance, and support the party has provided me from the beginning of my political journey up to this moment”, he wrote.
Sodangi was a deputy national director of welfare, Atiku Youth Wing and currently serves as director general Nigerian Youth Development Forum, an organization focused on youth political participation and engagement.
He was at the last convention of the opposition party in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, where he sought for the position of National Youth Leader.
