VIDEO: Otedola’s daughter Temi, Mr Eazi say planning multiple destination weddings demanding

Temi Ajibade, daughter of billionaire, Femi Otedola, and her musician husband, Tosin Ajibade, popularly called Mr Eazi, have opened up about the stress and disagreements they faced during the planning of their highly stylish wedding.

The couple revealed this in a podcast video snippet shared on their Instagram page, #thehowfarpod, on Sunday.

According to them, planning three destination weddings within three months was demanding.

Temi said, “Three weddings within three months, like that’s insane, like do three destination events within three months”.

Mr Eazi agreed, saying, “And we have one more to go.”

He revealed that the initial idea for the court wedding was to have a simple and quiet court wedding in Nigeria, but “it will no longer be as private as we wanted it to be.”

The other option, suggested by Mr Eazi’s friend, was to bring the court officials into their residence for a private civil wedding.

“I thought that was cool, but you were like no, you’re not having that” Mr Eazi said.

Temi, however, clarified that she wasn’t “super against” the idea, but expressed how pleased she was that they eventually settled for her top choice, which was Monaco.

When Mr Eazi asked why they didn’t have the civil wedding in the United Kingdom, Temi said, “Because it does not feel like a true link for me, like a real reason.”

“Even Monaco is more sentimental,” she added.

Mr Eazi noted that what surprised him the most about the weddings was the reality of administrative planning.

“I thought getting married was just deciding you want to get married, and then you go to the court and sign papers, little did I know that there was a mountain of administration,” he said.

PUNCH Online, in September, reported that the couple had their weddings in three different countries, namely Monaco, Iceland and Dubai.
