ADC intensifies mobilisation in Bauchi
Meanwhile, the Bauchi State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it has intensified grassroots mobilisation and membership registration as part of efforts to dislodge the PDP government ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Chairman of the ADC State Forum and spokesperson of party stakeholders, Abubakar Muhammad Bibi, disclosed this after a stakeholders’ meeting in Bauchi on Wednesday. He said the party was engaging communities across urban and rural areas to promote inclusive governance and present the ADC as an alternative.
He accused both the PDP and APC of decades of failed leadership, which he said had left key sectors such as education in a deplorable state.
He also revealed that internal disagreements within the party had been resolved, with a committee set up to authenticate leadership structures from ward to local government levels across Bauchi’s 20 LGAs.
He expressed confidence that the ADC would take over power in Bauchi by May 2027.
