Organisers of the annual praise and worship program in Ido-Ekiti, says the concert unites youth within the town for unparalleled worship and praise to the Almighty God.
“This project was born by Ido-Ekiti For Christ ministry in 2023 to pull the youth together for unparalleled worship and praise to the Almighty God,” Babatope Ilesanmi, national coordinator, Ido-Ekiti For Christ Ministry, said in a statement.
According to him, the annual concert was organised by Ido-Ekiti For Christ Ministry, a nondenominational ministry established by natives of Ido-Ekiti to deliver the town from the power of darkness.
Ilesanmi disclosed that a 100-man mass choir was raised from the various churches in Ido-Ekiti to minister during the Adoration Night.
He also urged church leaders to set aside their denominational differences, reiterating that the annual crusade will become a platform to discover talents, and also form a united force that will bring down the glory of God.

“This year’s session was awesome. God indeed inhabited our praise on the 26th of December, 2025, The Adoration Night; being the third day of our annual crusade titled “A New Beginning,” Ilesanmi stated, adding that the crusade brought a new dimension to the activities of the ministry since 1997.
According to him, the heavens were opened, and the earth lost control to the influence of the Holy Ghost, as the worshipers sang, ‘Agbara gbodo yi o, agbara gbodo yi owo pada.’ “Pentecost was literally repeated,” he stated.
Beyond the praise and worship, the annual crusade is also another avenue to support aged people within the town. “Widows were not left out as each went home with 2.5kg of rice and beans each,” Ilesanmi stated.
Babajide Samuel, the guest speaker and youth pastor from the town, who took his text from Isaiah 43:18-19 stirred the congregation in his message that ” …worship, praise & adoration are vehicles through which God is moved into doing new things”
As the annual crusade continues to gain popularity, other towns are beginning to emulate Ido-Ekiti by raising similar teams. “As God lives, next year Adoration Night will extend to neighbouring towns until the fire spreads across the nation,” Samuel added.
