2026: Be hopeful, confident, ICRC DG urges Nigerians
As Nigerians prepare to usher in 2026, the Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Dr. Jobson Oseodion Ewalefoh, has urged citizens to remain “hopeful and confident,” assuring that Nigeria is making steady progress toward closing its infrastructure gap.
Dr. Ewalefoh said the New Year presents an opportunity for renewed commitment and shared responsibility, stressing that infrastructure development remains central to economic growth, national productivity, and improved quality of life.
“A new year is not only a change of date; it is a renewed opportunity to build, to serve, and to deliver lasting value to our people. Infrastructure is ultimately about people — about access, opportunity, and dignity,” he said.
Highlighting achievements recorded in 2025, the ICRC Director-General pointed to recent Federal Executive Council approvals of key Public–Private Partnership (PPP) projects as evidence that the Federal Government is deliberately and steadily addressing Nigeria’s infrastructure deficit through credible, private-sector-driven solutions.
He added that the transition into 2026 should also inspire renewed faith, unity, and optimism, encouraging Nigerians to draw strength from past lessons while focusing on collective progress and national development.
“As we enter a new year, our focus must be on delivery, and may God grant our nation peace and wisdom, bringing renewed hope, steady progress, and lasting prosperity for all Nigerians,” he said.
Nigerians can now invest ₦2.5 million on premium domains and profit about ₦17-₦25 million. All earnings paid in US Dollars. Rather than wonder, click here to find out how it works.
