Worship brings the best of God – Rev. Kristilere
Israel Kristilere, a visionary/lead worshipper of Just Worship, has urged Christians in Nigeria to imbibe the art of regular worship to attract God’s unending goodness. “Worship God if you want the best; worship opens doors to all His goodness.”
He made this known in his message to worshipers during the annual worship concert of Shepardhill Baptist Church. According to him, the vision was birthed in 2008 to gather believers for a session of pure worship.
“The mandate is simple: bring Christians of all denominations together for 7 hours of uninterrupted worship to the Almighty. This is the foundation behind the tag Just Worship,” Kristilere stated.
He added that no one who exalts Jehovah remains in obscurity. According to him, believers will awaken God’s presence, invoke His power, and behold His glory through pure worship. “As we worship His majesty, God will manifest His glory in us; He will reveal us spiritually and physically.”

Speaking to the theme of the 2025 edition of Just Worship, Kristilere stated that within every believer lies a divine capacity waiting to be revealed. According to him, 2025 has come with its peculiar challenges for many Nigeria, which is the heart of this year’s theme: Apokalypsis.
“This is not a concert, not a prayer gathering, not a religious convention. It is a deep spiritual encounter—a sacred moment where every worshipper, regardless of vocal ability, has equal access to invade the heavens with pure worship.”
The cleric also sounded a note of warning to Christians that worship without Jesus Christ is empty. He added that there is need for people to first surrender their life to Jesus to enjoy and benefit from true worship.
“Dearly beloved, do you know that your worship is empty before God if you do not have Jesus in your life? If you are not Born Again, your worship is not acceptable to the Lord,” Kristilere stated.
