SUNU Assurances Football Team emerged champions of the 2025 Insurance Super Cup after edging two-time title holders AXA Mansard in a thrilling final.
Entering the tournament as debutants and underdogs, SUNU Assurances stunned the competition with a series of spirited and disciplined performances, culminating in a dramatic showdown against the experienced AXA Mansard side.

The final ended in a draw after regulation time, before SUNU held their nerve to secure a 5–3 victory in the penalty shootout.
The triumph was underpinned by the team’s resilience, tactical organisation and standout individual displays. In addition to lifting the Super Cup trophy, SUNU players claimed top individual honours, including Best Defender and Golden Gloves, further underlining their dominance at the tournament.
