
Obasanjo, Atiku, others present as Tambuwal marks 60th Birthday in Abuja
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; former Senate President David Mark are among leaders attending the 60th Birthday Colloquium of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
The Colloquium which is populated by opposition politicians across the country is being chaired by Olusegun Obasanjo and also has in attendance, the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP in the last election, Mr Peter.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan even though yet to be cited at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja where the event is taking place is listed as the Special Guest of honour.
Former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC Professor Attahiru Jega, is expected to deliver the keynote address, “The future of democratic governance in Nigeria: Pathways to National Cohesion, Human Security and Economic Renewal.”
Among those present are the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Matthew Hassan Kukah, African Democratic Congress, ADC National Chairman, Senator David Mark, Tunde Ogbeha, Emeka Ihedioha, Senator Sani Zango Daura, Lawal Batagarawa, Senator Jibrilla Bindow, former Governor of Kwara Abdulfatar Ahmed, Solomon Dalung. Former Governor of Rivers State Rotimi Amaechi, former Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi.
Also attending the event is former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, Former governor of Katsina State Aminu Masari, former Kano Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, former Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, former Edo state Governor, Oserheimen Osunbor.
Former Speaker, Patricia Etteh, Professor Pat Utomi, former Governor of Gombe, Alhassan Dangwanbo, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, former deputy speaker, Austin Opara, among several others are also present.
