Certified gazetted tax laws ready January 1 — N/Assembly
The National Assembly has said the truly certified and gazetted versions of the recently assented tax laws will be ready on or before January 1, 2026, amid public concerns over alleged discrepancies in their legislation.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by Bullah Audu Bi-Allah, Director of Information, on behalf of the Clerk to the National Assembly, on Thursday.
According to the statement, the clerk was working with the Federal Government Printing Press to publish the duly certified acts in compliance with the law.
The clerk added that the transmitted tax bills, including the certificate pages signed by President Bola Tinubu, had been made available for public review to allow independent verification by interested Nigerians.
The legislature noted that only a limited number of individuals had requested Certified True Copies of the harmonised bills, stressing that all such requests had been processed.
Members of the public seeking copies were advised to apply to the Office of the Clerk to the National Assembly and pay the prescribed fees.
Nigerians can now invest ₦2.5 million on premium domains and profit about ₦17-₦25 million. All earnings paid in US Dollars. Rather than wonder, click here to find out how it works.
