
Majid Michel, Rita Domnic, Broda Shaggi feature in Free movies uploaded on YouTube
Nigeria’s leading digital solutions provider, Globacom, has released four new movies on its premium entertainment platform, Glo TV, available for free to all subscribers.
The movies, announced in a statement in Lagos, feature some of Africa’s top actors and storytellers, offering a mix of comedy, romance, drama, and cultural stories.
The titles are Johnny Just Come (JJC), Eko Vibes, Bound, and Shifting Desire.
“Each movie showcases diverse African stories and world-class entertainment not available in cinemas, on YouTube, or on any other platform. Access is completely free,” the company said.
Shifting Desire, starring Lilian Afegbai and veteran actor Majid Michel, is a romantic drama about marriage, intimacy, betrayal, and healing, following a couple in therapy to rebuild trust.
The movie premiered on Glo TV on December 2.
Johnny Just Come (JJC) features Patience Ozokwor and Nancy Isime in a comedy about an American man navigating love and marriage in an African household, exploring identity, family, and culture.
Bound, with Rita Dominic and Eyinna Nwigwe, is a family drama about a career woman facing hidden personal secrets and the impact on her relationships.
Eko Vibes stars Broda Shaggi, Josh2Funny, and Nkechi Blessing, capturing Lagos youth culture, ambition, humour, and the energy of young people striving to succeed.
Globacom said the releases show its commitment to high-quality African content. “Glo TV is redefining digital entertainment in Nigeria by offering fresh, premium movies unavailable anywhere else. We will continue to expand our catalogue with stories that celebrate African creativity,” the statement reads
