
Ex-FCT commissioner turbaned with ‘Lamwan’ of Gbari nation
The Etsu of Kwali, HRH Luka Ayedo Nizasan (III), has turbaned the former commissioner for the Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Comrade Ezekiel Musa Dalhatu, with the traditional title of LAMWAN of the Gbari nation.
Speaking during the ceremony on Saturday at his palace, Nizasan explained that the revered title translates to the spokesperson of the Gbari nation.”
He stated that the prestigious title is a recognition that reflects the trust, respect, and confidence reposed in Dalhatu by the traditional institution and the people of the Kwali Chiefdom.
The monarch expressed his full confidence in the recipient, noting that the former commissioner is now an official member of the Chiefdom’s cabinet.
In his response, the former PCC commissioner expressed his appreciation to the Etsu Kwali and the entire traditional council for finding him worthy of the honor.
He described the recognition not merely as a title, but as a significant responsibility and a call to serve with even greater dedication and integrity.
He further assured the monarch and the people of Kwali of his renewed commitment to championing developmental initiatives and promoting unity within Kwali and the FCT at large.
