@50: Yakubu Usman congratulates government, people of Bauchi

General Yakubu Usman (rtd) has extended his warmest congratulations to the government and the people of Bauchi State as they commemorate a significant milestone of 50 years of statehood.

He said that the momentous occasion provided an opportunity for introspection, gratitude, and rededication to the noble ideals that have shaped the state’s history.

Usman appreciated the virtues of the founding fathers and past leaders of Bauchi State and urged the current and future administrations to prioritise unity, fairness, justice and inclusive development.

“As we celebrate this achievement, we acknowledge the visionary leaders and citizens who laid the foundation of the state, often under challenging circumstances.

As Bauchi embarks on its next phase, it is imperative to prioritise unity, fairness, justice and inclusive development. The people-centered approach of the current administration as exemplified by Governor Bala Mohammed’s leadership is a step in the right direction. I urge all stakeholders to emulate this spirit of collective responsibility, transcending parochial interests and working towards a brighter future for all,” Usman said.

According to him, “As we look ahead, I am confident that the resilience, ingenuity, and solidarity of the Bauchi people will continue to drive progress and prosperity. I commend the people of Bauchi Sate at home and in diaspora for their unwavering commitment, while he called all stakeholders to the most of the Golden Jubilee celebration as a catalyst for renewed hope, faith and optimism.”
