The wireless message, dated February 3, 2026, was issued from the Force Secretary’s office at Force Headquarters, Abuja, and addressed to senior police officials, including Deputy Inspectors-General, Assistant Inspectors-General, state Commissioners of Police, and heads of specialized units such as Interpol, the Counter-Terrorism Unit, Mobile Police Force, Border Patrol, Maritime Police, Air Wing, Bomb Disposal Unit, and other operational and administrative formations across the country.
