FG must bring health workers’ strike to an end

I urge you to expedite the implementation of the CONHESS adjustment, which will go a long way in resolving the strike and restoring normalcy to the healthcare sector. Mr. President, I humbly request that you engage with JOHESU representatives to address their concerns and work towards a resolution. I recommend the following: – Immediate dialogue with JOHESU representatives – Implementation of concessions to address JOHESU’s concerns, including the Conhess adjustment – Increased funding for the healthcare sector – Support for healthcare workers and their families Implementation Timeline To mitigate the strike’s impact, I recommend the following timeline: – Within 1 week: Initiate dialogue with JOHESU representatives – Within 2 weeks: Develop a comprehensive plan to address JOHESU’s concerns, including the Conhess adjustment – Within 1 month: Implement concessions and begin addressing healthcare sector challenges.
