Media Trust honours Sagagi as 2025 Unsung Hero
The Media Trust Group, publishers and owners of Daily Trust, Weekend Trust, Aminiya, Trust TV and Trust Radio, at the 23rd Daily Trust Dialogue honoured Sheikh Musa Ibrahim Sagagi as the 2025 Unsung Hero of the Year.
The award recognised his decades of commitment to skills acquisition and education which have benefited thousands of people in his community.
Sagagi, a resident of the Gangare community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, established the College of Islamic Studies (CIS) to expand access to secondary education for children from low-income families in Jos.
Founded in 1977, the college initially focused on Islamic studies but later incorporated western education, admitting both Muslim and Christian students. The expansion widened access to private education which had previously been beyond the reach of many families, and helped bridge the gap for students seeking both Islamic and Western knowledge.
Nigerians can now invest ₦2.5 million on premium domains and profit about ₦17-₦25 million. All earnings paid in US Dollars. Rather than wonder, click here to find out how it works.
