FCT poll: ADC organises medical outreach for Kubwa residents
The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kubwa Ward, Bwari Area Council, has concluded a comprehensive medical outreach in the Kubwa and Dakwa communities.
According to reports from the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the outreach was convened by Mr. Ayuba Adam, the ADC councillorship aspirant for Kubwa Ward, with support from the campaign organization of Dr. Patrick Ezie, a House of Representatives aspirant.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Akpama Michael, the ADC Chairman for Kubwa Ward, stated that the initiative was aimed at promoting unity and improving the health of local residents. He noted that the outreach reflects the party’s commitment to community development and its resolve to secure victory in the upcoming February 21 Area Council elections.
“The aim of this medical outreach is to bring people together, understand their health challenges, and work towards success in the February 21 election,” Michael said.
He explained that the program began in the Dakwa community on February 1, with the Kubwa exercise serving as the second phase. Michael further emphasized that the ADC is focused on bringing governance closer to the people, dismissing reports of internal ranchor within the party. He expressed optimism that the party would emerge stronger ahead of the 2027 general elections.
On his part, the councillorship candidate, Ayuba Adam, pledged to work closely with the party’s chairmanship aspirant, Mr. Josiah Koche, if elected. He disclosed that the medical team treated various ailments for approximately 700 residents in Dakwa and 500 in Kubwa.
According to Adam, critical cases identified during the exercise were referred to nearby functional hospitals for further treatment. (NAN)
