FCTA releases phone numbers to report uncleared refuse

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has provided four telephone numbers for residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to report uncleared refuse.

The administration said the initiative was aimed at addressing the growing waste management challenges in the FCT by ensuring that waste management contractors perform their duties as and when due.

Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Public Communications and Social Media, urged members of the public to send pictures and videos of uncleared refuse to the provided numbers via WhatsApp.

He emphasized that the location of the refuse should be clearly specified in the messages to help the administration identify the contractors responsible for covering those specific areas.

The numbers are 08038643087, 07011073406, 07011255710 and 09114843425.
