President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday flagged off the 2026 Armed Forces and Remembrance Day emblem at the presidential Villa, Abuja
The event was attended by Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, Tajudeen Abbas, Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Service Chiefs

The Armed Forces Remembrance Day is an annual event in Nigeria, observed on the 15th of every January, to honor fallen soldiers and recognize living veterans.
Ahead of the actual ceremony, the President and Commander -in-Chief of the Armed Forces usually launches the remembrance emblem, every December.
The launch is used to sensitise members of the public and encourage Nigerians to support the families of the heroes and veterans
