Defence minister’s screening ongoing at senate

The screening of General Christopher Musa as minister of defense is ongoing at the Senate chamber.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had requested the Senate to confirm Gen Musa as the new minister of defence following the resignation of Abubakar Badaru.

Tinubu’s letter was read during Wednesday plenary by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
