Tinubu holds closed door meeting with service chiefs amid kidnapping crisis
President Bola Tinubu is holding a closed-door meeting with Nigeria’s service chiefs at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting began at about 6:01 pm on Monday, as the security chiefs arrived at the Villa’s forecourt and were ushered into the president’s office.
It is Tinubu’s first engagement with the military high command since he swore in retired General Christopher Musa as minister of defence on December 4.
Although the agenda of the meeting has not been made public, it is taking place amid heightened security concerns across the country.
